The Radcliffe School Governors

Welcome to the Radcliffe School.    Across the whole of the website you will find details of all aspects of our school life. As Governors of the school we are extremely proud of everything that we offer our students and the powerful links that we are building with our local community.

The role of Governors is to set the strategic direction of the school, create a policy framework that allows the school to operate effectively and check in to monitor how effectively we are delivering.  Across the year the Governors hold 3 full meetings and 6 sub-committee meetings with broad and varied agendas to span the breadth of our Curriculum and wider school activity.  It is the role of the Governors to make good investment decisions and to work closely with the school leadership team to create an environment where we are continually improving, and our students achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our Governors are all volunteers and come from a wide range of different backgrounds, each bringing different skills and expertise to ensure that we can challenge effectively.   We have a diverse school, so it is important to us that our Governors represent the community that our school serves.  We are always looking for new Governors to join our board so if you are interested in joining us, please get in touch using the details below.

If you would like to contact the Governors, please write to the Chair of Governors via the school, or email p.critchley@radcliffeschool.org.uk
