SITE ASSISTANT
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
Salary negotiable, depending on experience and skills

We are looking for a reliable, energetic and organised Site Assistant to join our busy team as soon as possible. The ability to offer trade skills (such as painting & decorating, carpentry, plumbing, building maintenance or grounds maintenance) is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities will include caretaking duties, maintenance work (including the grounds), emergency repairs, portering and liaising with contractors and school users.

We are ideally looking for someone who could work Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. However, we are willing to negotiate these hours for the right candidate.

Some occasional shift work may be needed during particularly busy periods, annual leave and absence.

Applicants must be fit, healthy and willing to be flexible and hold a clean driving licence.

TEACHER OF HISTORY

ART TECHNICIAN (Maternity cover)
(starting January 2019 until Easter 2019 in the first instance)
£11,959.27 per annum (based on 37 hours per week, 39 weeks p.a.)

We are looking for a creative and organised individual to provide maternity cover as our Art Technician from January to Easter 2019 (in the first instance).

The successful candidate will have a love for art, be highly organised and have a helpful disposition. Tasks will include:

• preparing resources for lessons
• maintaining equipment and resources in order to keep them in good working order
• providing practical support to staff and students within lessons and extra-curricular clubs
• monitoring stock levels and preparing orders
• keeping the department tidy and ordered
• ensuring that displays within the department, and art displays around the school, are eye catching and updated regularly
• supporting staff to deliver an engaging and innovative curriculum

TEACHING ASSISTANTS (LEVEL 1) - 2 POSTS

We require two Level 1 Teaching Assistants to work within curriculum teams (Business, Economics & Social Sciences, and Design Technology). Previous classroom experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
